For 15 years, alcohol was my prison. It numbed the pain, blurred the edges, and slowly erased who I was. Every morning, I woke up to regret, wondering if I’d ever break free.

Four months ago, I made the hardest decision of my life which is to stop. Recovery hasn’t been easy it’s raw, messy, and often painful. But every sober day feels like a step toward freedom.

Now, I’m piecing myself back together, rediscovering who I am without the bottle. It’s not perfect, but it’s real. For the first time in years, I feel alive and hopeful.
