I’ve been sober from meth and alcohol since February of 2022, after years of living a life I thought worked my body told me I was not. Out of no where my organs started to fail and I was in a come given a 12% chance to live, I have cirrhosis of the liver and enough was enough. It took me a few months if fighting the doctors recommended sober plan before I finally did get sober. Since then I have regained my life and then some. After 8 years of homelessness I have my own apartment after many miscarriages and being told I’d never have kid’s I have a beautiful daughter. I still have hard days and sometimes they’re harder then my worst intoxicated day because I have to deal and feel but overall I wouldn’t go back to the old life. My livers healed and now I’m working on my mental healing but it can be done just go one day at a time it’s not just a cliche saying it is a way if life!
