My mum gave me up for abortion cos she was 16 Andi was adopted by a family where both my parents were alcoholics. It was a chaotic and dysfunctional home. Depression made me addicted to substance and by 13,I had already been smoking for a couple of years. I spent years trying to hide my drug use from my lover but when we moved in together I had my wake up call and now that I’ve been sober, I make sure I don’t try to relive that terrifying moment and experience ever again.
