Some people love valentines day some people don’t but it’s coming up quickly. In fact it’s tomorrow.
Is Feb 14 a special day for you?
In our house we don’t to much. Maybe a few more hugs. We see it as a day that may have an origin in love it’s become way too commercial.

I always thought Valentines day was a made up ploy and despised it probably because it just never got celebrated and it was easier to hate than be sad. NOW! I started to romanticize life and just give into the cheese. I love just celebrating for my kids. Balloons, I write them cards every year to open on the valentines day of their 18th year. Put them in cute outfits all that jazz. My husband and I dont really celebrate but its fun for the kids.

Meh. I agree it was fun with my kids when they were little … and when I was around. That is something I still struglle with … the whole not being there when they wanted me or needed me…
I know its not directly related to valentines…
Now I give the boys money… as they are seeing hearts for their own valentines…
