Posting for the first time. Hello to all my brothers and sisters in recovery. Just thankful to be here. Never give up!! I was sober 23 years and started drinking again. Ended up in the ICU with a myriad of health complications and finally came home. Been sober since then. You can get up. It might be a crawl at times but keep believing.

I am so grateful that we have chances to continue on with our recovery…I have had signicant recovery time and relapsed too, it doesnt mean that the things we have learned during that time were lost, it just gives us a chance to add more tools to the toolbox. Welcome home!!!

Thank you. I still have hope and look at this as it might be a blessing to others to not give up. I was broken - physically, mentally and spiritually. Everyone has there own path, but I look at hope as a beacon.

I have over 17 years of sobriety and am thankful everyday for freedom from the chains of active addiction. I am no more stronger than I was the day I started but am now smarter than I was then.
