Taking accountability for physical health

Many times in Recovery I have heard people, especially guys, say “I got my weight back on” and feeling really good about that. Maybe not so much for me… anyway , people start working out, going to the gym etc. There is another part of our physical health that could have been neglected in use, things like eyes, teeth and broken bones or sprains that were never treated. Sometimes dealing with these can prevent further problems down the line. or getting checked for high blood pressure, diabetes etc… what are your thoughts and have you taken more action on this

@villebrun57 I think you make an excellent point here. I know for myself it was very difficult to work on my physical health when I got in recovery. It was years before I saw a doctor. Part of this was due to insurance problems and things along those lines, but it definitely feels good to prioritize physical health.
