Who's Got Super Bowl Mocktail Recipes?

Since we hate both teams at our house (hahahahahaha) we’re going with a New Orleans theme. Here’s what on the menu!

1. French Quarter Fizz

A bubbly, citrusy drink inspired by the classic French 75!

Ingredients:

  • 1 oz fresh lemon juice
  • 1 oz honey syrup (equal parts honey and warm water)
  • 2 oz non-alcoholic sparkling white grape juice (or club soda)
  • 1 dash orange bitters (optional)
  • Lemon twist (for garnish)
  • Ice

Instructions:

  1. Fill a cocktail shaker with ice and add lemon juice and honey syrup.
  2. Shake well and strain into a chilled coupe or flute glass.
  3. Top with sparkling grape juice (or club soda).
  4. Garnish with a lemon twist and serve!

2. Bourbon Street Hurricane (Mocktail Version)

A tropical, fruity twist on the famous New Orleans Hurricane!

Ingredients:

  • 2 oz passion fruit juice
  • 2 oz orange juice
  • 1 oz lime juice
  • 1 oz grenadine
  • ½ oz simple syrup
  • 2 oz ginger beer or club soda
  • Orange slice & cherry (for garnish)
  • Ice

Instructions:

  1. Fill a hurricane glass with ice.
  2. In a shaker, combine passion fruit juice, orange juice, lime juice, grenadine, and simple syrup.
  3. Shake well and pour over ice.
  4. Top with ginger beer or club soda.
  5. Garnish with an orange slice and cherry.

3. Big Easy Mint Julep (Non-Alcoholic)

A refreshing take on the classic Southern mint julep!

Ingredients:

  • 6 fresh mint leaves
  • 1 oz honey or simple syrup
  • 2 oz fresh lime juice
  • 2 oz unsweetened iced tea
  • 2 oz club soda
  • Crushed ice
  • Mint sprig (for garnish)

Instructions:

  1. In a glass, muddle mint leaves with honey or simple syrup.
  2. Add lime juice and unsweetened iced tea, then stir well.
  3. Fill the glass with crushed ice.
  4. Top with club soda and stir gently.
  5. Garnish with a fresh mint sprig.
