I’ve been thinking about counters lately. Like number of days sober and how we often just reset the counter if we stumble. But that isn’t really how it works. All the days that go before stumble still count. Like in exercise. If you miss a workout you don’t magically lose all your fitness. Or in learning. You don’t lose the knowledge if you don’t do the test. We have streaks, we have accumulated days and we have stumbles or relapses. It isn’t linear or black and white.
If you could choose where and how to live what would that look like?
I’d have a small plot of land near a small river, a modest house with a nice workshop. I’d spend my days building things and giving them away to people in my communities.
@KScout had some ideas about mixing animals so here is a golden alpaca.
