My training I did was on Effective De-Escalation Techniques with Edens Group Training Center out from St. Paul MN It was a 6 hr zoom training. It was pretty much basic stuff I knew from working in a adolescent group home and adult Residential Treatment Center where I am currently employed. Hopefully I get to attend more future trainings for my job. I am trying to get a peer support recovery specialist certificate. I wish I could have attended the training that started today for peer recovery specialist.
Any bits of wisdom from the training that you remember and can pass on? It seems like de-escalation would be a good thing to know.
