Making Amends

Making amends has been a vital part of my recovery, allowing me to take responsibility for the harm I caused during my addiction. It’s not just about saying sorry but showing through my actions that I am committed to change. By sincerely apologizing and working to rebuild trust, I’ve started to heal relationships that were once broken. This process has taught me humility, accountability, and the importance of repairing the connections that matter most. While it’s not always easy, making amends has brought a sense of closure and growth that helps me move forward with integrity and hope.
