Recovering from a toxic relationship

I thought our love was unbreakable, but his mother’s threats changed everything.
She warned me to stay away, or else she’d make my life miserable.
I tried to brush it off, but the fear and anxiety consumed me.
Our relationship began to crumble, and I felt powerless to stop it.
His mother’s words echoed in my mind, “You’re not good enough for my son.”
I started to doubt myself, wondering if I was indeed worthy of love.
But as time passed, I realized that his mother’s opinions didn’t define me.
I began to focus on self-care, surrounding myself with positive people and experiences.
Slowly, I rebuilt my confidence and learned to love myself again.
Today, I’m stronger and wiser, grateful for the lesson learned from that toxic experience.
