Pathfinders

Oh dear, I am sitting in the Bristol, VA public library, burning some music for the trip.

I came here from NY to raise chickens. But life has a way of showing up. Time to travel…again.

I’ve heard it said, “ All paths lead to the summit, not all people are fit for them” (Dali Lama)

and as far as recovery goes, I would have to agree. The only problem is there is no way to pick/assign/or diagnosis the correct path with any accuracy. This “recoveredcrackhead” eventually discovered that the program described in the Big Book was very helpful. I’m not saying it was the be all end all as I had some “outside issues to address”. But after much trail and error, clean and dirty, in and out of institutions, I pieced together my broken life and then set about to help others….. period. I do not judge one problem from the next, nor do I judge outcomes. Failure indicates that a change is needed. Unfortunately in today’s world dilly-dallying may result in death. Never stop trying and by all means seek the Truth.

Regards.
