Hello everyone , I hope you are doing well in this festive season I would like to share what helped me being sober from alcohol.
I replaced drinking with running, which clears my mind, and journaling, which helps me process emotions. Spending time with supportive friends and family keeps me grounded and motivated.
I would also like to hear what helped you getting sober.
I also use running to clear my mind. I find it is a great place to think through things that are bugging me.
It also turns out that a number of ultra-runners are in recovery. I have a friend that talks about how the pain of years of drinking prepared him well for the pain of ultra-running.
