So I’ve had ADHD most of my life- diagnosed as a child. But now as an adult, who is also a parent, this shits hard. Everything that worked to manage symptoms no longer does, basic human needs are incredibly hard to meet. Anyone have any advice? Tips or Tricks? Thoughts? Accept the chaos?

Hey, I feel you. ADHD as a parent is no joke—it’s exhausting, and what used to work doesn’t always cut it anymore. For me, I’ve had to simplify things: tiny routines instead of big plans, outsourcing when I can (even if it’s just asking for more help), and giving myself permission to let some chaos happen.
Also, ADHD-specific tools like timers and apps have been lifesavers, and leaning into support groups where people get it has helped me feel less alone. Some days are just about surviving, and that’s okay. You’re doing better than you think—you’ve got this.
