Crossing that line

I have struggled with addiction. My journey to sobriety began with a wake-up call – realizing that my addiction was affecting not only my own life but also the lives of those who loved me. I began with network, therapy sessions, and self-reflection.

  1. Be Patient and Persistent: Recovery is a journey, and it’s essential to be patient with yourself. Don’t be too hard on yourself if you experience setbacks – instead, learn from them and move forward.
Remember, overcoming addiction is a unique and individual experience. What works for one person might not work for another. Be gentle with yourself, stay committed to your recovery, and know that there is hope for a brighter, healthier future.

@Jreagss People need to talk more about PATIENCE. Your on point. I was the one who got right back to life after my first treatment and I fell real hard quickly. It took a couple times becauyse I was so ready to kick recoverys ass quickly and It never worked. Slow intentional baby steps is what my mentor says.

I second @Valor9. Learning patience is a tough one. We all want that life back quickly and if were not careful it can crash hard.

Networking and that first or last self realization is key to long term recovery.
