The struggle is real

Hello family. Happy holidays. My name is Rebecca. Am the last born in the family of 5 4 boys and me(female). I started using marijuana at the age of 17 and right now am 24 and am really struggling to quit it. It started when I used to see my brothers using it. They kept on saying that it made them feel good and you know I also wanted to feel the good. And within no time I was addicted to it. A day couldn’t end without me using it. It had affected my career and I still I found myself using it. I tried ending by myself but my efforts couldn’t make it. I decided to talk to my mom about and to my surprise she offered me her hand and promised to support and be throughout the step of the way. Starting to use marijuana is one thing and stopping to use it is also another. I have joined a rehab and I am trying my best to be sobber and end it. The rehab has helped me discover my triggers and control my urge. You don’t need to fight the struggle alone. Remember you are brave the moment you decide to share your struggle with someone you trust. No man is an island. #togetherwewillrecover

Besides the good strategies you employed to manage the situation, I can concur that more importantly exercise is ultimately good for those going through recovery from substance use. It has worked for me before and I can’t hesitate to let one see a Physiotherapist or rather join Gym for guidance. Many people have appreciated me for this.
